Recorded and performed with sarode maestro Ustad Aashish Khan in traditional and fusion settings co-leading the Indo-New Orleans group Shringar. I teach vocal, tabla and instrumental classes in the New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Covington areas. Earned a B.A. in ethnomusicology from UCLA and contributed to Louisiana’s New Populations research program by documenting the maintenance of Indian classical music in Louisiana..
