Recorded and per­formed with sarode maestro Ustad Aashish Khan in trad­itional and fusion settings co-leading the Indo-New Orleans group Shringar. I teach vocal, tabla and instru­mental classes in the New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Covington areas. Earned a B.A. in ethnomusicology from UCLA and contributed to Louisiana’s New Populations re­search program by docu­menting the main­tenance of Indian clas­sical music in Louisiana..
