Comments – Pretty good example of Bhageshri. There are some elements, that don’t exactly fit Bageshri (e.g., the chromatic descension that you often hear at “Bedardi Dagabaz…”. But considering the fact that Bageshree is often performed in these lighter forms, it should not raise too many eyebrows.

Comments – It can be a little bit confusing, because this song has been tacked onto a different song. The film appends “Madhura Madhura Sangeet” onto “Tut Gayi Meri Man Ki Bina”. “Tut Gayi…” is a melodic kichidi that may have flashes of Bageshri present, but does not warrant inclusion into this list of rag based film songs.

Through most of “Madhura Madhura Sangeet”, it is a very typical Bageshri. However, there is a section toward the end where it goes off rag.
