Comments – This is the Indian National Anthem. It is not a pure Bilawal due to the presence of a tivra Ma.

Comments – I probably should not have placed his song in this list. It is here to differentiate itself from another “Zindagi Khwab Hai”, also performed, by Mukesh, but a decade later. This present “Jagte Raho” version is really in the Western major scale, which roughly corresponds to the Indian Bilawal. The Western approach to the song is amply illustrated by the occasional alternation between the major 3rd (shuddha Ga), and the minor 3rd (komal Ga).
