Comments – This starts of as a pretty clear example of Bhinashadaj (at least by filmi standards). But about a third of the way through the song it completely departs from the rag. Although it does return to the Bhinashadaj theme about half way through, from then on it is a typical Bollywood “kichadi“.

We must remember that Bhinashadaj and Hemant are very similar. Even classical musicians must be very attentive to maintain the distinction. Filmi music directors are notoriously intentive to these details. Therefore there is a certain lack of confidence in our assigning this song to Bhinashadaj instead of Hemant.
