Deshkar
Deskar is a dying rag. There is good reason even to say that it is already dead. But it has not died from lack of use, it has been completely subsumed into the much large identity of Bhupali. Even among classical musicians, there is less of a tendency to maintain a proper distinction between Bhupali and Deshkar. To expect the film-wallas to maintain these distinctions is of course unthinkable.
