My Tabla is 5 inches diameter and tned in b flat and the Dagga is tuned lower b flat. Is this OK, or should I re-tune them up or down to make it better to play ? SHould Tabla and Dagga be in the same tune or may they be like b and f or b and d ?

Mines 5 and 1/4 and I can tune it all the day up to D, but usually keep it around c and c# becuase thats how the sitarist likes it. So depending on the head, I think you could bring yours up alot. But If it sounds good and you like it then i dont find that a problem, thats what my teacher keeps his tuned to usually.
