HI Every one, I am a very big fan of live ghazal recordings, specailly ones that have good harmonium players, I.E Tassaduq khan ( formerly with Mehdhi hassan) Bhure Khan and Mohan Singh ( with Hariharan) Ustad Asad ALi khan ( with Talat Aziz) and in my View the most melodious of the the lot S.D Sagar( with Pankaj udhas. These are all the players have heard, in my 30 years, can you recommend any other good players to listen to and their albums

I have heard Gnan prakash ghosh, play on a Cd and also you should check out, Ustad Sadiq hussain, from Pakistan.

Well if anyone else knows of other players to look out for, please share it with us,

Listen to an ALbum, bt Talat Aziz, called "Tasaavur" its done in the early eighties and has cuperb harmonium accompany ment, and other great musicians.

Ut Ghulam Ali's live recordings have the best singing, harmonium and tabla. Its not only extremely melodious its the best composition which suits words and their meenings. Its very difficult to copy too. Ordinary singers like Talat Aziz, Pankakj Udhas etc. can't even imagin such a beautiful compositions.

Hi sunil, I think ustad Ghulam ALi is a harmonium legend, infact , I Am his biggest fan, but I am talking about the harmonium players who, accompany the ghazal singers.

Khansaab, GA, is amazing, have sat withhim on many occassions and someof the harmonium he has played, baffles me, he is so natural and spontaneous.
