I just bought a few cds:
The Music of Pakistan: Mohammad Sharif Khan
Nur Ghara is an incredible raag! I have never heard of MSK before (or any of the raags), and I think he is a good sitar player. His Nur Ghara is simple, only sitar, but incredibly emotive. I think the jawari is really open, love that sound.
I also bought RS the spirit of India, Kushal Das, Inde Du Nord and some flaminca guitar tracks.
