I am at this time interviewing a teacher who wrote me the following:

"The gharana I teach is an amalgam of the Maihar (Alauddin Khan's gharana, Ravi
Shankar style) gharana and the vocal style of Jaipur/Gwalior."

Does anyone know what the "Jaipur/Gwalior" influence sounds like?
