I just caught Anoushka interviewed on BBC radio. She's promoting a biography she's written about her father. Apparently it's called 'Love of My Life'. I haven't checked out Amazon for it yet, but I'm heading over there now.
I'm a Ravi fan from the mid-sixties. Like you say, none of us would probably be here on this forum if it weren't for pioneers like him. And we wouldn't be playing sitar either.
I read his original autobiography (My Music My Life)way back then, and I have that one too, dog-eared and everything. All I meant was simply he already has two biographies out there (along with the more recent Raga Mala). And then we now have 3 videos and DVD biographies to go along with that. Well, whatever. There are a whole bunch of Beatles biographies; I've got two or three of 'em. So if people want to write or film even more Ravi biographies, then fine. But I think I've got enough for now. That's all.
