Anybody planning on going to this? We don't have a forum for strings other than sitar, and the performance/workshop link is a little flaky so I'm told. So, putting it here. But this includes sitar, headed up by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan. Out of my state, otherwise I would go. But for some of you guys in California. . . . .good opportunity.

Good to know. .but for those residing in the Bay area. .there is one more long term option. . .Ali Akbar Khan's school in San Rafel. I usually learn a lot. .just sitiing and listening to him give lessons. The fee for the Amjad Ali course seems a tad high as well. But he is known to be a good communicator/ teacher. .so all the best to those who can make it.

Yes. I've been to AACM. Only problem is finding a place to park anywhere near their building. A very hi-density tourist area. Be prepared for a long walk unless you really luck-out and find a spot on the street.
