Hi Everyone:
I took some tabla lessons from my teacher for about 3 yrs. For me , this is just a hobby. I am no longer attending classes due to family/job requirements. I am now looking for some practice audio files , wav, mp3 that I can play on a player, Auditon, for example and be able to adjust the speed. This way I can play along as well. I believe this would help me in my practice sessions

Dear Prana,
I don't own one myself but a few of my friends use the electronic lehera/nagma machines and the "taal- mala" or taal- master" machines regularly for practice. There is also the "Swar- shala" program that seems to work ok, however I, for one, find some of the nagmas and taal samples given in the practice mode just a little too distracting. Any recorded loop samples such as wave or mp3 would otherwise be distorted if they were adjusted for tempo and tuning.
sincerely,
Aanaddha
