Hi!
Does anyone know this 10 beat cycle? What 's the difference with jhaptal?
Both appear on my lehera box.

i SUPPOSE THE ONLY IS THE NUMBER OF BEATS PER DIVISION (JAP - 2,3,2,3) WHERE AS THIS IS 2,2,2,2,2

Sultaal is actually a pakhawaj taal. It is one of the most used talas in Dhrupad together with Chautaal and Dhamar taal.

I didnt know in which context this tal was played.
I practice jhaptal with my lehra box, but I prefer using the sooltal melodies that just sound better. Maybe I shouldnt?
