Rather than getting all 'fustrated' and worrying about what to replace. (kinda like a chicken without a head) Take it to a professional, like aacm which is close by. Honestly it just looks like it has to be tensioned and adjusted. A tighter bottom ring, and someone who is qualified in pulling the bayan straps.

i really dont see anyhting wrong with this. showing a small tabla is a wonderful way of showing ur love for the music. . . .so much that u want to show it to everyone that comes to ur house. its wonderful
