I'm a tabla player and got recently a very nice tabla head fixed from Rikhi Ram's Music in Delhi when I was there for a short trip. It is a great sounding drum now, I had many calcutta heads fixed (shyamal, muktu and many others, vishnu, I don't like), but this one is outstanding.
If anybody considering of tablas, do check with them.
