I would like to learn some new Rela's Sep 28, 2002 06:37 a.m.


I would just like people to post some more Rela's on this site. (speed is everything). Also if any of you have any tips for me on playing Rela.

Tip: the more you practice, the better you play. Practice at different speeds. Don't play compositions too fast when practicing. Try to make the drums sound as good as possible(balance, bayan modulations). Think about your playing (how to develop it, what you want to express with it)and record it. Try to find your own voice and own variations. Have fun!
And my last comment: all you guys out there LISTEN TO USTAD NIZAMUDDIN KHAN!!!!!! HE is no longer with us, but HE is JUST INCREDIBLE MUSICIAN!!

Here's a basic one dha-,tr,kt,gege,tr,kt,dhene,gene,Dhage,tr,kt,gege,nana,gege,tene,kene then Kali ,baya comes back on Dhage
