tabla teacher in portugal? how to check if my tablas have good sound?

Well i just bought the tablas i've downloaded this site so i could try to do something
i guess that i cant get most of the sounds i dont know if its me or the tablas
i wonder if theres anyone portuguese around here that could teach me.
and where to find some good tutorials about tablas thks =)
