tabla beat science is a good album. I recommend to you also: - Talvin Singh / Anokha - Asian Dub Foundation - Fun Da Mental - Dhol Foundation - Spaceport Orchestra of Benares ( music freely available on Besonic.com) - Secret Archive of the Vatican (Also avalaible on besonic) - Archaic pop stuff ( i don't if it's available, but interesting it is)
All these bands offer "techno" music with indian samples and atmosphere. Enjoy
You like good Indian-Western music fusion?Listen to the German multi-instrumentalist Prem Joshua. His albums "Dance of Shakti" and "Mudra" includes trancey rhythms, drum'n'bass and other modern grooves. This all interwoven with Manish Vyas on tabla.Very recommended. On this very moment he his making an US tour. More about him and his music: http://www.premjoshua.com/
