Hi,
I dont know much abt playing except for basic bol's.I am in currently in USA.Can you plase tell me which videotapes or books can i use at this stage (i.e) at beginners level ?

First of all, make sure you have a teacher if you don't already have one. There is a teacher search on this site, and also on www.tabla.com . You can't learn properly from a book, and it's my opinion that this is particularly important in the early stages. As you progress books can be good for compositions, information and such.

David who runs this site writes some books (I believe there are some links), and another excellent book is Jerry Leake's "Indian Influences" (tabla perspective).
