I use tabla a little at a drumcircle near me. Its fun, but not as loud as the other drums like Djembe, doumbeck, bongo, conga. But I would go to yours if i lived anywhere near you.

I would love to attend your drum circle. I just bought new tabla! I'm a beginner, but I can definitly hold a groove, and I'm capable of making all the sounds the tabla can make. I live in Cream Ridge, NJ. (down the street from great adventure)
I've never done the "drum circle thing" before, so you may have to fill me in. Send me an email.

Drum circles range from freestyle jams with many people playing beats at once. Or people all playing the same beat for a dancer or something. Or a teacher teaching beats and students playing along. all are great fun.
