Can I ask what clue has make to you to suspect this, please? Are they perhaps in the same city?

I rather suspect that this Rahim Khan Sanegri is a branch of the Indian instrument company that
makes "Givson" guitars and mandolins.
Hi. Living in India and living sitars for nearly 40 years leads me to this conclusion. Sitars from UP (Utter Pradesh) will be street value tourist items at best. For a playable instrument, go with a name brand from Calcutta or a very few New Delhi brands. If you really want a jewel, get a sitar made before 1971. That was the year that craftsmanship went belly up in India along with nearly everything else, especially peoples integrity. Happy hunting!
Thank yoy for the information. But is very sick for me because I have already the Sitar at home. I have ordered a RKS Ultra Pro and they have delivered other thing. Your news are not very good for me. But the instrument looks nice, I can't speak about sound because I have not played a Sitar before but the sound looks good.
If somebody can help me to find out the quality of the instrument I can send several pictures in low resolution, my e-mail is: vigolero@wanadoo.es
I hope that my new and dear Sitar was not only for decoration!
