I mentioned in an earlier post that the Gundecha brothers will be performing in Iowa City in April. I've joined the group that organizes these concerts so I'll get to meet these guys.
Anyway, the concert is being set up through Brian Silver. His wife Shuba Sankaran will be opening the show on surbahar, which is very cool given all of the talk here lately about Remco's beautiful instrument.
Has anyone ever met Brian and/or Shuba? I'm hoping to work out a lesson in the time that they're here (not sure yet if Brian is coming).
