yes, dumb question, but I don't know if my sitar is teak or not. I thought it was tun, but I have an old teak table in the basement and the wood looks similar. Is teak heavier than tun? Is there a grain difference? I thought there was a sound difference, but all the sitars I've played (e.g. :-) have been worse than mine (or really nasty) so it is hard to say :-)
Usually, you just buy a teak or tun, but the person I bought mine from didn't know!
