Thought I would give it another shot - if anyone knows of any sitar players in the Charleston, Beckley, Huntington- Ironton area of WV please let me know

If the teacher and the student live in the same time zone, you can take advantage of the 'free nights & weekends' that a few wireless phone companies offer. Nowadays cell- phones come with a head- phone and mouth- piece (aka 'headset') that you can use so that your hands are free while you use the phone. A friend of mine and I practiced over the phone a couple of times- he was singing and playing the harmonium on one end, while I played the tabla! It worked great!

The rudra veena that Manoj Kumar Sardar made is mine, so no I am not interested. I am working with every possible maker to bring up the standards of quality to what Murari Babu and Abdul Aziz had started.
