I was wondering if anyone has sitar videos which they would like to exchange. I have several well know sitartist on video: shahid pervez, vilayat khan, shujat khan, nikhil banerjee. Let me know if anyone is interested in exchanging. email me since I dont check this thread that often.
Wow! That sounds awesome! Maybe there is a way to burn them on a DVD. Videos in this part of Europe use the PAL-system: you can play other (USA) video's on them. I'm looking out for sitar DVD's at the moment, since I bought a region-free player last week. I would definitly pay for a DVD with players mentioned above!

The Ravi Shankar DVD came in late last week and fortunately its region-free. Got a DVD player for my folks for Christmas, so I'll watch it on theirs (no, I don't own one yet).
There is only one other sitar DVD I know of, features Vilayat Khan. I think its also region-free. I don't have the site bookmarked, but Lars can tell you where it is. Hope you have a great Christmas too. Its a big day for me as my birthday is Christmas.
