Looking for a Sitar/Mohan Veena teacher in Birmingham/Dudley Sep 23, 2002 03:08 a.m.

I have done my Sangeet Prabhakar from Benaras University in Mohan Veena and would like to take advanced lessons here. Presently I am in Dudley and am looking for tutors in Birmingham or Dudley from whom I can take lessons on weekends as I am working.

Please write ASAP, that is if anyone has any information. want to start my classes at the earliest.

Bhuvana,
Could you tell me more about Sangeet Prabhakar from Benaras. Is this the same as a degree in music from a western university? What is the curicullum? I am interested in information on all of the methods of training in Indian classical music and am just inquiring for personal knowledge.
Thanks,
SB
