Hello,my name is Johan,i'm a french Tabla player,
i just would like to know if someone knows the tala which
is called "Taal Posta", it is in five beats.
I saw this tala on the Zakir Hussain's CD: Essence of Rythm, and i didn't see it anywhere else.
If somebody knows a composition in this beat or other informations about it,please send it to me.

Hello

I am not sure whether you're talking about Posta or
a taal named "Pashto".

My understanding of Pashto is as follows:
Pashto is a 7-beat Taal:
Tin S TaTitaKita | Dhin S Dha Dha
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
* "S" is a Pause in above notation.

Example of this Taal is Ustad Bade Gulam Ali Khan's
famous "Hari Om TatSat" song.
