The skin of my Tabla (Dayan) split recently. I have a friend coming to Poona soon. Can someone please tell me if there is a musical store in Poon a where one could buy a replacement skin. Address would be useful.

I have found that Yeshwantrao Gulabrao Naik in Shukrawar Peth (in the lane oposite Shreenath Cinema) in Pune makes good Tablas. I got one from him last year. The Tabla is still in good condition. I am sure he can provide good skins.
