If I remember correctly Bengt Berger is from Stockholm. He was a student of Taranath Rao and nowadays I believe he studies with Sadanand Naimpalli. He also plays drumset. Search with yahoo or google with his name and you'll find his homepage. There is his e-mail and all that stuff. I know this because I am from Finland and I have been in contact with him. I haven't heard him play tablas, but I have heard him play jazz.

I don't believe he lives in Sweden. If he lives in Sweden he would be a good choice. In Norway there is Jai Shankar, who has nowadays played with Mynta at least in few concerts.

Fazal Qureshi, who is Ustad Alla Rakha Khansaheb's son, is in a swedish group called Mynta and i belive he lives in Stockholm, so go for it! he is the best teacher you can get there.
