So glad to find this forum. I am moving to India for a while and I would love to learn playing tablas. I will probably be in Mussoorie (Uttarachal). Does anybody have any suggestions?

In case you decide to head to Lucknow, you can look for for some great teachers like:
1. Rangnath Misra
2. Ravinath Mishra
3. Kashinath Mishra
4. Akbar Hussain
5. Illmas Hussain (I am not sure if he has left Lucknow)
6. Dilip / Pradip Acharya
