Just wondering if anybody has ever heard of a deer skin tabla and/or has any experience with them. www.kalakendar.com is selling a tabla by Bina that they say is made with deer skin. Any information would be appreciated.

Yes I heard about it,but no experience. I only know the color of the skin is different than a goatskin. It is more white.

I have purchased the professional Bina Tabla set with deer skin Puddi from Kala Kendar. I am Very happy with the quality and sound.
