I bought Shaik's Dawood Drums of India cd some time ago but only now have been listening properly. Wow, I love his style! Maybe the best of the best!!!!
Are out there more records (i.e. Cd's, tapes, anything) from him? David could answer this question I believe.
I agree with you Rod. Ustad Shaik Dawood Khan is a fantastic player and uses some nice and fresh layakari things. I believe also that David knows if there are some other recordings by Him.
