Hey everyone,

I've noticed with a few videotapes of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan that his tabla player is playing something other than the traditional bayan.
What is this drum called, and where would it be possible to find one on the internet???

Also I was wondering if it is possible to take lessons to learn how to play a quaali style of Tabla. .

I think its called a nanaksar bayan. Its kind of like the back end of a dhol. It usually provideds a LOT of bass. Here is a link:
