So ne can be an open or closed sound played with ring finger on edge of gob ? is pinky and ring finger used ?. . .i have seen on site ne = tin also . what is tra ? also kra. .a three finger roll then two on gob . .i see explanation but im not sure . i play various drums most are like a surface to experimnt with hand positions. .on egyptian tabla i know about 100 ,lots on others, but on indian tabla it seems set positons . .as in you wouldnt use cuba positions. .other drums you can use hand positions from all over the world but not tabla . .or am i wrong
