Hi,
What is the Average Life for a Tabla or Bayan Drum Head? I realize that there a variety of factors to consider, but perhaps someone who works in a music instrument store or repair shop could give some "ball-park" estimate; i ask this question so i can get an idea of how much money i need to set aside for maintenance of this instrument once i begin to get "serious" with playing;
