Any of you wondering about different powders and more absorbancy. My doctor told me about a nonperscription powder called Zeabsorb that has 3 times the absorbancy of normal talc powder, it contains no corn starch or anything. I picked some up and it is great stuff, smells a little funny, but its good.
Cool! I haven't found a speck of untainted talcum powder so far so I've been forced to look for alternatives as well. My dad just picked up some (what I belive is) chalk like gymnists use, does anyone know if that will work alright?
Well that just sucks. Unless someone can reccomend to me a good alternative to talcum powder, it looks like I have roughly zero options available to me.
Well Zeasorb works according to how to apply it and how much u apply.just put a little bit a while b4 u play. .and im sure u will be fine. i have a question. .are any of u girls?and from where r u. .girl or guy. .

I heard it turns to mush and clogs the cracks.
Do a Gooogle search for "unscented talc". The first result is a place that sells unscented talcum powder. Although it's a funny place to buy talc from (you have to see it to know what I'm talking about), the product is high quality and low-cost. I ordered some a year ago and the powder has been working great for my tabla. No problems with the shyahi. Good luck!
