I was wondering about the pitch of the drums and humidity. Whenever it rains here and I play my tablas the pitch of both drums is lower. So later I have to retune the tabla drum back up. Should I retune it back up as soon as I notice the pitch goes down from the humidity or should I leave it low until the humidity goes back to the way it was? Also my dagga is quite high in comparison to recordings I have. But when its very humid it sounds more like the daggas in recordings. Is it common to have a higher dagga or should I try to lower the pitch of it? Thank you for any responses
