Which of these two materials used for making the Bayan sound superior? I am close to having the money for a set of tablas and now I am deciding weather to get Copper or nickel over brass. The set that is nickel over brass is sold at buckingham, and the copper one is sold from Sadanand, the tabla maker who makes for Zakir Hussain. Which would you suppose sounds better?
