I have always been in love with the tabla. It is one of my favorite instruments. I would really like to get started playing but i don't know much about how to play them and what kind to buy. I have an intense music background of guitar, vocals, and percussion. What should i look for in buying a set? What kind of price should i be looking at paying? Where should i look for them?

One thing with Tabla is that you can't get started without a teacher. If you're going to play a teacher is vital at the beginning and very much advised even when you're good.
