Hi,

I moved this topic here because it does not fit in the Tabla Forum. .

About your question, Raga deals with melodic aspect of music. Technically speaking, there is no such thing as harmony in Indian Classical Music.

Check the links on chandrakantha.com . . there's quite a collection of sites in there.

Check these sites:
http://www.soundofindia.com/ go to "raagas"
http://www.musicindiaonline.com/

There should be a lot more, it's only a question of enough time and patience.

Best Wishes

One site I know where in-depth info can be found is at:
http://www.sawf.org/music/articles.asp?pn=Music
Dr. Parrikar analyzes various ragas here, but the original question about Indian harmony is not discussed. I believe some harmony does exist in Indian music, but it is generally a coincidence, that is, not intentional.
