At the end of my second lesson, my teacher has given me a composition in Rag Yaman (in Tintal) to practice.
The three 16-beat phrases that he has written out are labelled:
Sathai
Manjhar
Antara
My question is, do I simply play through each of these phrases in order and then start again at the beginning? What do the terms mean and/or represent?

Also, what speed is Razakani Gat played at? Vilambit? Madhya?

Thanks folks.
