Looks like a nice sitar. I wonder where it was bought? Looks like a good deal, but why sell it after a year. .

Maybe they decided playing sitar was not for them. . . . . . .:-)

lots of reasons I can see why that could happen. . . . .you could always ask them, even though you might not get a straight answer

Hey AJ,
it doesn't look like he is giving it up, since he is offerring 2 free lessons. Maybe it is not as good as it looks or there is a better sitar in the shadows. I wouldn't mind having a nice upper tomba like that!

Yes PB, that's a nice sized upper tumba, for sure. . . .

He/She doesn't use lighting well in photos though, do they. . . . . .

I thought it interesting they said
"Made from the highest quality wood"

Wonder if the lessons are of the same quality?

Maybe you should try your hand at growing a gourd for an upper tumba like Russ did?
Pretty cool thing to do. . . .wonder if it'd be hard to find the hardware you'd need?
Then of course, there'd be decoration to contend with, as well. . . . .but still, heck of a project, no doubt!

Yep, it's fun to browse eBay : )

Happy New Year!

Hey AJ,
yes, the pics are no great offerrings. I would love to grow the upper tomba. I have plans to do so, I found a seed seller for the canteen gourd. It should be fun, hope the vine doesn't cover my entire back yard! I think the hw would be easy enough to make, the wooden top of the tomba might be difficult though. Happy new year to you too.

Yes I think that'd be a really great project, PB!

By golly, you be sure and keep us all posted on this one, I really wanna see this! Try to document the entire process, if ya can, like take pictures from when ya first plant the seeds clear on up to the finished tumba! Man that'd be really interesting and fun to see and hear/read about!

MOST excellent!
