Does anyone else here have the book"The Sitar" by Manfred M Junius?
If so, could you record on a cassette tape about 4 or 5 of the sargams starting on page 64.
I'm playing them but they just dont sound right. I would like to hear some examples of what they are supposed to sound like.
It would be much appreciated if someone could do this for me if its not to much trouble.

What about making mp3 files? (if someone feel like it)
Perhaps Billy og Lars would want to host them on their site?

Since we are talking about that book, anyone have a copy? At Amazone it is said that its out of print. .
I would not mind having a copy : )

Is there a reference audio (mp3) raga database somewhere on the net. Like you know, this is Bairavi (spelling?) or this is Malkuns (spelling ?) or any other raga, giving the scale and the basic flow of the raga. I would love something like that, and i have a feeling some of you girls would too : )
