Hmmm. . .going by the bios the person provided, somebody from the New York or close-by area, somebody looking to start college so probably in their teens, and somebody who really wasn't interested in sitar in the first place. So, good luck to them. Seeing a Mangla on Ebay is depressing!

Yes, it is depressing. Although I really like the sitar I have know, I would love to have a MPS! No matter, I'll wait and get a better one later. All I have to do is convince my wife that I need a better one for some reason :-)

LOL. That is what I did with the last one! I think my sneak-quota is full for the next little while.

Actually, I just refuse to buy a sitar from ebay. I'll wait for a shristi or an older HR or something.

My best buddy has bought a lot of stuff off of e-bay, mostly guitars. He says with a little researh and shrewd common sense, you can get some pretty good deals.

I've never done e-bay myself though.

I think those little stars are pretty accurate representations of the sellers truthfulness from what I've heard.
