Have never been interested in playing any instruments at school but since I have had a chance to learn tabla its changed my life.
When I sit down and practice there is so much happiness that comes to me. I am a late learner I'm nearly thirty but wish I had chance to learn it younger. Why was I fated to learn it now?
I was never interested in playing piano, violin, trumpet etc when being a student. But tabla I can't get enough of it, even when I'm not playing I'm counting tabla bols on my fingers.
I just like to thank whoever created this instrument, God, Gurus, Ustads and people of the tabla forum for their hard work, insight, knowledge and generosity of spreading and allowing me play this instrument.
I could relate to what you experience
and would love to comapre notes with you.
