Who is Kumar Bose? I looked for CDs with that name on amazon.com and half.com and found nothing. Lots of Miquel Bose, no Kumar Bose.
It's hard to disappoint a pessimist.

By the way, amazon.com really isn't the best place to be looking for Indian classical CDs. You'll find a lot more at khazana.com . .

Kumar is a major player and always with the big names
. In addition to his talent he's known as a nice unassuming person, highly favoured as an accompanist.
From a western drummers perspective he might be considered a pocket player.

Warren, what is a pocket player?

Kumar Bose is a fenomenal player. I don't think that there is any one else who has a better control of the bayan, better dynamics and better overal feeling on tabla today as Kumar Bose.
