First off keep this in mind and this is something for everyone. I have no cash. What we do is invite tabla players that are performing locally to do a workshop . What they get paid is what the students bring . I have quite a few e-mails from players in India asking me to fly them out, it's funny, we do our stuff by working with the concert presenters being friends and telling the tabla players through e-mail that they can make a little extra money teaching students while they are here .
Swapanji came out and he said next time he would do a workshop so you just try to work it like that.
Anindo is coming to do a concert and will do 2 workshops 4 and 5th of April. You should try to enlist visiting tabla players even for some private lessons , many are happy to do this . I would love to see Tari here.
