Hi All:
I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the quality of the various lehera machines out there. Is there a big difference between them or are they all pretty much good enough for tabla practice?

No. There is a lot of difference. I use a really cheap one but I wish I had paid a little extra for the fancy one . It has more compositions and you can adjust the accents , you can also program in your own melody which is really useful not only for yourself but if you want an instrumentalist you can program in his favorite Raga melody and force that lazy sarodist to play along with it.

Varuna, what is this fancy one called?
I have one Sundammala, I think it is called, and either it plays the compositions faster than it is supposed to or I just don't how to work with it. In anyway, I used the Swarshala software more often.
