What I want to hear is every performers way of playing along well with a soloist, in Indian classical music. How much do you play kaidas and relas and how often do you just play whatever you want? What else do you do to make the performance go better? How do you know to end? I assume the soloist looks at you or something, but specifically what do you and your soloist have as a cue to time the ending? thanks
