I am trying to understand the bols used in playing Vilambit Jhaptal and Vilambit Dipchandi. I came across some recordings in Vilmbit Jhaptal and I can not decipher the bols correctly. Ditto for Vilambit Dipchandi.

Any help greatly appreciated!!

Thanks Swara for the reply but. .
I was looking for Vilambit versions of these Taals. Basically the fillers used to make the basic Theka Vilambit. Many Tabaljis use different bols in between as the fillers.
I always like Vilamit versions because I consider them to be good test of a Tabla player.

Helo man. the best taals are the ones u compose urself.
n for vilambit its fairly easy.
the best thing for u to do to is this
start playing the thaptaal or deepachandi at home at drut laya or anu drut if u can handle it
do this for at least a 100 plus cycles
by then ur fingers would have set into the rhythm
after that drop ur speed to vilambit n experiment!
the logic here is that, the timing for the taal has been set in ur head due to the initial 100 cycles at fast speed
after that, when u mess around with the bols, the chances that u go off note are quite minimal.
best of luck
